TUMBLE TOTS

Classes for 2 through 4 years old Boys and Girls

A forty-five-minute gym exploratory class for children 18 months – 3 ½ years old and their parents. Motor development, manipulative, balance, and coordination activities lead children to develop a physical capacity for gymnastics skills, as well as skills they will need for other sports. Tumble Tots promotes parent/child interaction and physical development in a fun, stimulating environment.

TUMBLE BUGS

Classes for 4 through 5-year-old Preschool & Pre-K Boys and Girls

A forty-five-minute educational gymnastics class with strength and coordination activities in a happy and positive atmosphere. Instruction is given in tumbling, bars, balance beam, vault, and trampoline. Students must be potty-trained to be eligible for this class.

Classes for Kindergarten Girls

A 60-minute class for kindergarteners. Children receive instruction on bars, floor skills, balance beam, vault, and trampoline.

MINI STARZ

Classes for advanced 5-6-year-old girls. Must be invited to this class.

We work on gaining flexibility, strength, and skills with a little more push.

Two days per week recommended to move ahead quickly. The Mini Starz can make up their classes in the Rec/Intermediate classes.

 

RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS

Classes for 1st-3rd-grade girls

Beginner Level. Classes include instruction in tumbling, bars, balance beam, vault, and trampoline. Special attention is given to the development of strength and flexibility.

RECREATIONAL, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED

Classes for 1st – 4th-grade girls

1st – 4th-grade girls who demonstrate proficiency in strength, flexibility, and technique. One hour and fifteen minute class.

*Evaluation prerequisite.

Those girls interested in competing on our team next year need to come twice per week. This is the only way to gain the strength and skills needed to move on.

An awesome Tumbling class that can get your child in tip-top strength and flexibility, learning basic to advanced tumbling and trampoline techniques and skills.

STRENGTH, CONDITIONING, AND FLEXIBILITY

Adult classes for those of you who are looking to lose weight, gain strength, get flexible again, take workouts home with you so you can learn how to stay fit anywhere/anytime.

It’s time to give back to you. Those adults who take care of themselves are overall happier people than those who don’t. Do it for your family, if not for anyone else.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

You can pay your session fees through the link to PayPal below on our site.

You may make up missed days within 2 weeks of the day missed, before or after. If we are open on a “holiday” and you miss, there are no make-ups.

All session fees are due on the FIRST DAY of classes in full.

Please make sure your children have leotards(girls) with their hair pulled back and boys wear fitted shorts and shirts. This is for the safety of your children.

SAFETY RULES:

At RIVERBEND GYMNASTICS, we also teach life skills that go beyond gymnastics training. By instilling respect for self and others, and
observing safety rules, we create a more productive and enjoyable environment.

  1. Only gymnasts and coaches are allowed in the gym. Parents, family members, and guests must remain in the observation room except when using the restroom.
  2. All persons participating in classes are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous, friendly and supportive manner at all times. Any inappropriate language, demeanor or body language will not be tolerated.
  3. Proper attire is required to participate in class. Girls must wear leotards, which may be worn with tights. Shorts may be worn over the leotards. Boys must wear shorts and t-shirts. No long, non-form-fitting pants are permitted such as jerseys, sweats and jogging pants.
  4. Longer hair that can be secured must be tied back in a pony-tail.
  5. All gym equipment, including the tumbling run, can only be approached, touched, adjusted and used when an instructor permits and is in full supervision.
  6. Awareness of other gym participants and staying clear of their activities at all times is mandatory.
  7. No food, beverages or chewing gum are allowed in the gym.
